ProCook announces charity partnership with FoodCycle

ProCook has announced a new partnership with community dining charity FoodCycle as part of its ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities it serves.

FoodCycle is a UK charity that combines surplus food, volunteers and community spaces to create free, nutritious meals for people at risk of food insecurity and social isolation.

The partnership will see ProCook support FoodCycle through fundraising, raising awareness of the charity’s work across its stores and support centre, and colleague volunteering. As part of its colleague benefits programme, ProCook colleagues are given two paid volunteering days per year to support a charity of their choice.

Sarah Wheatley, People and ESG Director at ProCook said:

“Our mission is to ignite a passion for cooking in every home, and we’re committed to making a positive impact beyond our products. FoodCycle’s values align closely with our own and their work brings people together through food while supporting communities across the UK.”

FoodCycle CEO Sophie Tebbetts said:

“We’re delighted to be working with ProCook again. Partnerships like this are really vital in supporting our community meals, helping us to tackle loneliness and hunger, food poverty and food waste.”
