ProCook named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Retail, Hospitality & Leisure

ProCook has been named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Retail, Hospitality & Leisure™ recognising its commitment to its people and workplace culture. The retailer now has 80 stores across the UK, and as the business continues to grow, attracting, developing and retaining great people remains a key priority.

The Best Workplaces in Retail, Hospitality & Leisure™ list is compiled using data gathered by Great Place To Work® UK through employee surveys. The surveys ask employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also include an assessment of how well the organisation is able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.

Sarah Wheatley, CSR and HR Director at ProCook said:

“We’re delighted to be recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Retail, Hospitality & Leisure. We’ve been recognised by Great Place to Work for five consecutive years, but being recognised specifically within our sector is particularly meaningful.

Over the past few years, we’ve continued to invest in our culture and employee experience, with a strong focus on listening to our people, supporting their development and creating an environment where they can do their best work. As ProCook continues to grow, maintaining that culture and attracting and retaining great people is incredibly important to us, so it’s fantastic to see that recognised through feedback from our employees.”
